Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B , which rose 2.49% or 8.9 points to trade at 366.3 at the close. Meanwhile, DSV added 2.34% or 6.4 points to end at 280.0 and Carlsberg A/S B was up 1.53% or 9.5 points to 629.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S , which fell 1.15% or 2.1 points to trade at 181.3 at the close. Nordea Bank AB declined 0.88% or 0.55 points to end at 62.05 and Tryg A/S was down 0.64% or 0.8 points to 125.1.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 77 to 74 and 17 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.20% or 0.44 to $36.35 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 1.27% or 0.49 to hit $38.18 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.70 to trade at $1217.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.13% to 6.5301, while EUR/DKK fell 0.12% to 7.4407.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 94.51.
