Sweden stocks lower at close of trade |
Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B, which rose 7.33% or 37.00 points to trade at 542.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB added 1.30% or 0.95 points to end at 73.80 and Electrolux, AB ser. B was up 0.91% or 1.9 points to 210.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj, which fell 1.88% or 0.91 points to trade at 47.42 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B declined 1.83% or 1.50 points to end at 80.45 and Securitas AB ser. B was down 1.82% or 2.50 points to 134.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 324 to 214 and 63 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 3.32% or 1.34 to $41.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 3.69% or 1.58 to hit $44.41 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.10% or 1.30 to trade at $1256.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.59% to 9.2007, while USD/SEK fell 0.45% to 8.0767.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 94.04.
